All assignments are on a 4.0 point scale unless otherwise noted. The highest grade students can receive is a 4.0.

-2 point bellow 90 = .1 less on a 4.0 scale
This will be be graded very formally. The speech does not need to be memorized, you may choose to use very limited notes. These presentations should not be read directly from slides or from notes.
Recommendations:
- practice at least 3 times with a timer in front of at least one other person
- give the talk to a friend not familiar with the topic to see if they understand the ideas you are trying to communicate
- write out a list of possible questions with answers in advance
